Good quality, just one small issue.

My book cover design project turned out great, and I was really happy with the variety of options I received. The only slight drawback is that I couldn't use a second promo code I found after starting the project; it would have saved me about 15%.

Icon Design was okay, but pricey

Compared to Fiverr, Crowdspring's Icon Design was good, but the 27% higher price tag felt a bit steep for the final result.

Got a decent app design

I needed an app design for a small project and gave Crowdspring a try. It went pretty well! I put up my brief and got a bunch of ideas back. It was cool seeing all the different styles. Picking one was tough but I eventually found a designer whose vision matched mine. The process felt pretty smooth, and I got what I needed.

Good logo design process

I used Crowdspring for a new logo design project and overall it was a positive experience. The brief submission was straightforward and I appreciated being able to provide detailed input on my preferences. I got about 30 different designs, which was a good number to choose from. Communication with the designers was simple enough through the platform, though sometimes getting revisions took a bit longer than I hoped. Final files were delivered promptly after I picked the winner. The quality of the designs varied, as expected with a crowdsourcing model, but there were definitely some strong contenders. The money-back guarantee policy was a comfort, though I didn't need to use it. I thought the pricing was fair for the value received.

Decent value for brochure design

I needed a brochure design and was trying to keep costs down. Crowdspring offered a good package price compared to what I saw elsewhere. I got a fair number of submissions, and while not every design was a winner, I did find one that worked. The final files were delivered fine. It felt worth the money I spent.

Is Crowdspring legit? And do they have any new customer discounts?

W WebWizard 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Totally legit. Used them for website design and then later for some illustrations. Got a new customer discount code for my first project, think it was like 10% off.

Where did you find the code?

Sometimes it pops up on the site, or in a welcome email if you sign up for their list.

I heard they have a referral program too. Anyone tried that?

They're good. Not 99designs, but solid. My promo code didn't work initially, had to contact support. They fixed it quick though.

Has anyone used Crowdspring for logo design? Thinking about trying them.

B BizOwnerGal 4 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Yeah, I did for my small business. Got like 50+ designs, which was wild. Ended up with a really good one.

50+? Wow. Was it a contest or 1-to-1?

D DesignLover88 4 weeks ago
Contest for sure. 1-to-1 is usually fewer options.

My experience was mixed. Had a few good designs but the communication with some designers was a bit slow. Still, got a decent logo in the end.

Did you get full copyright for it?

I used them for a non-profit logo. Got a discount which was super helpful. The money-back guarantee was reassuring too.

Anyone know if you can use more than one promo code? I have a new customer one and saw another for logo design.

N Neil Brooks 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per project. I tried to stack two once and it wouldn't let me.

J Julia V. 2 months ago
Sadly, no. You can only use one promo code at checkout. Gotta pick the best one for your project.

So if I start a contest, how many different designs can I expect to see? Just a few or a bunch?

E Elena P. 1 month ago
It depends on the package you choose, but usually, even the basic ones get you a good number of entries. I've seen projects with dozens of unique designs.

P Priya K. 1 month ago
A bunch! For my logo project, I got like 50+ entries from different designers. It was actually hard to pick just one, which is a good problem to have.

What if I hate all the designs? Can I get my money back or am I just out of luck?

G Gwen 2 months ago
They have a money-back guarantee, but there are some conditions. You usually have to reject all the designs and close the project. Read the fine print on their site.
2
R Rosa 2 months ago
Yeah, they do have a guarantee. I've never used it myself, but I've heard it works as long as you haven't picked a winner or started working one-on-one with a designer for revisions.

Is crowdspring better than Fiverr for logo stuff? I've used Fiverr before and it was... okay.

N Noor 2 months ago
For logos, I'd say crowdspring is a step up. You generally get more options and a higher caliber of designers in a contest, rather than just picking one person on Fiverr.

W Wendy 2 months ago
Totally different vibe. Fiverr is good for cheap, quick stuff, but crowdspring feels more professional. You get a whole bunch of concepts to choose from, more like a proper contest. I think the quality is better overall.

How long does it usually take to get a decent amount of logo ideas back? I'm on a bit of a deadline.

A Amber 2 months ago
It can vary, but I've done a few projects and usually start seeing designs within a few days. The whole thing from start to finish might be a week or two depending on how many revisions you do.

L Laura Okafor 1 month ago
For a logo contest, you'll see stuff coming in pretty quick, like within 24-48 hours. The whole process, from launch to final files, usually wraps up in about a week if you're decisive.
